In 2015, during a period when I was mostly involved in the Hip-hop scene in my hometown as a rapper and producer, my friend Nikey Vital asked me to mix and master his EP The Diary II – Detour. This quickly led to more work and acquaintances, and before I knew it me and my new homie were building a proper studio at his house, where we finished his album and mine, and I started getting other clients as well. I’ve gone by several names over the years, so if you see the names Chris Freeq or Gingerninja on anything, that’s me.
